Career Services Access For Students and Alumni Of Other Law Schools

Options For Students Of Other Law Schools:

Career Services facilities and resources are available to current law students of schools which provide reciprocal services to our students.

To obtain access to Career Services resources:

A career services administrator at your school should submit a reciprocity request in writing and send it via mail, email or fax to the contact person listed at the bottom of the page.

A student granted reciprocity will:

Receive online access to our job listings for a three month period, starting with the date of the request, if our students will receive on-line access at the requesting school.

Not be able to receive counseling advice, participate in On-Campus Recruiting (OCI), or be able to apply for jobs via our job bank.

Not receive reciprocity from August 1 to September 30 each year due to OCI.

Options For Alumni Of Other Law Schools:

Alumni of schools which provide services to our graduates will be able to use our Career Services resources.

To obtain access to Career Services resources, alumni of others schools may:

1. Purchase a subscription to the Symplicity online job bank for six months for $50 or for a year for $100. No reciprocity request is needed and subscribers can continue to access the online job postings during the OCI blackout period. While a subscriber will have access to the online job bank postings, they will not be able to apply for positions directly from the job bank.

To purchase a subscription:

Send a subscription request with your name, address, email address, law school name, date of graduation, and a check payable to "University of Wisconsin Law School" to the contact person listed at the bottom of the page.

2. To obtain reciprocity:

A career services administrator at your school should submit a reciprocity request in writing and send it via mail, email or fax to the contact person listed at the bottom of the page.

A letter granting reciprocity will be sent to you. The online access to our job listings is valid for a three month period, starting with the date of the request (if our graduates receive on-line access at the requesting school).

Reciprocity requests and subscription payments should be sent to the attention of:
