Curriculum Planning

Students at the Law School have many opportunities to experience what is known as the law-in-action idea. Our extensive curriculum places emphasis on the dynamics of the law — how the law relates to social change and to society as a whole — while at the same time stressing experiential learning.

Academic Student Resources

UW Law School is committed to empowering our students to thrive in and out of the classroom. We have several programs and departments that cater to our students that provide academic tools, bar preparation and much more.

The Academic Enhancement Program (AEP) is a collaborative effort involving law school administration, faculty and students with the goal of assisting all students in developing the critical experiences and skills necessary for academic success in law school and beyond.

Offering services throughout your law school experience and beyond, Bar Success is committed to providing you with information and strategies that will help you to be successful in whatever you decide to do upon graduation, including utilizing Wisconsin's Diploma Privilege, taking a bar exam, or some other path.

The Office of Student Success & Inclusive Excellence leads strategic initiatives, supports other units within the Law School in pursuing their goals, and drives efforts forward throughout the Law School. Student Success is integral to the success of the Law School.
