The dual degree in law and business is a cooperative program between the Law School and the Wisconsin School of Business enabling students to earn both the JD and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). No more than 15 credits of dual degree coursework graded B or better may be applied to reach the 90-credit total required to earn the JD (Rule 3.05).

Admission requirements and procedures for the Wisconsin School of Business
It is recommended that students apply to the JD and MBA programs within the same year. Admission to the full-time MBA program will be deferred for one year while admitted students complete the first year of Law School.
