Thefts

Unfortunately, the onset of winter weather is also the onset of thefts in public buildings. The UW campus and the Law School have experienced a number of these seasonal thefts in prior years. We have had valuable items stolen from the Law Library, rest rooms, the atrium and hallways.  It's just not that hard for somebody dressed in outdoor clothes to come through the building, find an unattended item and be gone with it in a few minutes.

So, please keep track of your possessions.

If you think you have lost something, check with our online Lost and Found: http://www.law.wisc.edu/current/lost-and-found/

If you think that somebody has stolen something, you should contact the UW Police at 262-2957.
