Dear Law
School Student Community:
We are pleased to announce the 40th Annual LEO
Banquet. The banquet
will be held on April 18, 2009,
at the Concourse Hotel. Cash Bar and Cocktails are from 5:30 - 7:00; Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
This year APALSA/SALSA is hosting the banquet. The
keynote speaker will be The Honorable Glenn H. Yamahiro. He is the first
Asian-American in Wisconsin history to serve on the
bench.
To commemorate the 40th Anniversary, we will be recognizing Ruth Doyle for her service to the LEO Program. Accepting the honor on her behalf will be Governor Jim Doyle.
The price for the banquet is $25/student. You can either register with an APALSA/SALSA student at the desk in the atrium, or online at www.wisconsinlawalumni.com. The registration deadline is April 10, 2009 at 12:00 noon. You can also register for the event with me, Kimberly Frank, in Room 2320.
Following the banquet there will be an after party held at Fresco, 201 State St, Madison.
I hope that you will plan to attend this very special Law School event and also, please encourage your classmates to attend.
