Interested in talking to someone who works for a public interest NGO?

The East Asian Legal Studies Center presents

Jason Adkins

Institute for Justice

December 19th at 1:30 PM

Law School

  Lubar Commons (room 7200)

speaking on

“Issues of Public Choice in the Context of Health and Safety Regulations

and Eminent Domain”

The Institute for Justice, founded in 1991, is the nation's only libertarian public interest law firm.  IJ litigates to secure economic liberty, school choice, private property rights, freedom of speech, and other vital individual liberties and to restore constitutional limits on the power of government. In addition, IJ trains law students, lawyers, policy activists, and grassroots organizers in the tactics of public interest litigation and advocacy for liberty. Through these activities, IJ challenges the ideology of the welfare state and illustrates and extends the benefits of freedom to those whose full enjoyment of liberty is denied by government.

Reception provided after the talk.
