NLG is again hosting Professor Bill Whitford's annual talk about how one can be a "lefty" lawyer in the context of many different career options in law. He will discuss the pros and cons of different career options from the perspective of somebody who is concerned to reflect left-of-center political beliefs in his/her work life, while still being attendant to strictly personal needs and wants. Whitford will emphasize the need to balance the personal and political in making career choices. And he will discuss, in his view, what career choices are best, strictly from the perspective of furthering political aims. The talk will be held Tuesday, February 28th at 1:00pm. Location TBA.
