This year marks the 22nd annual Race Judicata, hosted by UW PILF. Race Judicata is a 5K run/walk and UW PILF’s biggest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds fund summer grants for students performing unpaid public interest legal work.

Race Judicata will take place on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The race begins near the UW Medical School in Lot 60. Same-day registration is available beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The success of Race Judicata is more crucial this year than ever before. Funding for grants for students performing unpaid public interest work was reduced by 50% due to the loss of a federal work-study match, so every dollar raised from Race Judicata will help fill that void.

Every dollar makes a difference! Please consider forming a team, participating as an individual, or making a direct contribution to PILF. Registration is $15/person for students, $25/person for non-students or $13/person for groups of 5 or more.

Online registration is available at
