Welcome Back! The librarians and staff at the Law Library would like to welcome you back for another challenging and rewarding semester. As you get settled into your classes, now is a good time to get an update on all the great resources and help that the library can give you while you are busy studying. Here is a crash course on some of the resources that the library offers you this semester.
Private Study Rooms that can be reserve online: On the library home page, click on the "reserve a study room" icon on the left hand side. You can now see what rooms are available, see where your group is working, and find out what features are in each study area. It is easy, and maybe even a little fun. If you have any questions, feel free to ask at the circulation desk.
Study Guides: The librarians are working hard to make your legal research go smoothly this semester. Check out the libguide page (http://www.law.wisc.libguides.com/) to discover a wealth of resources that can get you pointed in the right direction no matter what subject you are working on.
Course Reserves: The Law Library maintains a collection of books that are relevant to the courses being taught this semester. To check what books are on our current course reserve, you can visit the course reserve page and use the dropdown menu next to "course" to search for law courses that have books reserved.
Get Help: Sometimes the library can be an intimidating place. There is so much to use, it may seem daunting. That is where the reference librarians can help. The reference desk is staffed from 8am to 9pm from Monday to Thursday,from 8am to 5pm on Fridays, and 1pm to 5pm on Saturdays.
