A warm welcome from the staff at the UW Law Library to the incoming class of 2018 and all returning students! Before classes start, feel free to stop at the reference desk for a personalized library tour or relax in one of the library's quiet reading rooms to start your assignments.

Using the Law Library website is a great way to launch into the new semester. If you are off-campus, login to MyUW for access to all library resources.  Here is a sampling of what you will find:

The UW catalog makes it easy to locate books, e-books, journals, e-journals and database subscriptions.

Reserve study rooms, check library hours, chat with a reference librarian, and visit us on Facebook.

Review our Research Guides including the 1L Survival Guide, App Guides for Ipads or Android devices, suggested Study Guides, plus many other specialized topics.

Click on the Explore tab for restaurant recommendations, low cost activities in Madison, and a listing of law related DVDs available for check-out at the Law Library Circulation Desk.  Now is your chance to watch a classic film like "Paper Chase" or binge on 65 episodes of the television series, "The Wire".

We look forward to seeing you in the library soon.
