The University of Wisconsin Law School will recognize the achievements of William Shernoff this September as he's presented the Wisconsin Alumni Association's 2012 Distinguished Alumni Award.

The series of events begins with a screening of "On Moral Grounds" from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in room 2225 of the Law School. The film was shot in Eastern Europe and tells the story of Shernoff's work securing insurance payments for Holocaust victims.


The William Shernoff Distinguished Alumni Award Luncheon takes place at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the Quarles & Brady Reading Room. Click here to RSVP.


"What I'm Doing with My Law Degree: A Talk with William Shernoff" will be from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24 in room 3250 of the Law School during which Law School Dean Margaret Raymond will talk with Shernoff about how his legal education served as a launching pad into a highly successful career.
