The Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society's annual Symposium will be on Friday, February 5th in room 2260 here at the University of Wisconsin Law School. This year's symposium, “Faster, Higher, Stronger, Fairer, Better? A Critical Analysis of Gender & the Olympic Movement,” is a FREE event open to all UW students, faculty, affiliates and non-UW affiliates.

Our distinguished speakers and panelists will be addressing the current state of gender within the Olympics. Some topics to be discussed include the examination of the sex verification of Olympic athletes, the history of the exclusion of women in the Olympics and whether Caitlyn Jenner could participate in the Olympics as a woman.
