The National Jurist has ranked UW Law School #5 in the nation in its article on the top law schools for clinical opportunities.

With the realities of a tough job market and law firms interested in new associates who can hit the ground running, clinical options offer students a way to remain competitive by gaining practical skills and hands-on experience.

UW Law School offers a range of clinical and skills training programs, in addition to internships and externships. These offerings are at the heart of our longstanding "law in action" approach to teaching, in which students learn not just what the law is, but how the law works.

Beyond our clinical offerings, UW Law School continues to develop programs like a new real estate program and a business law initiative launching this fall that address the changing legal landscape and expand students' job opportunities after graduation.
