Nourse Nominated to 7th Circuit Seat

President Barack Obama has nominated UW Law Professor Victoria F. Nourse to a seat on the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Nourse, the Burrus-Bascom Professor of Law, joined the UW faculty in 1993 after having worked both in private practice and in government service in New York and Washington.  She has been a visiting professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, New York University School of Law, the University of Maryland Law School, and Yale Law School, and was the LQC Lamar Professor of Law at Emory University Law School.
