The UW Law School figures prominently in an effort to document the Law and Society movement.

The Center for the Study of Law and Society at the University of California-Berkeley Law School is creating a video archive of interviews with some of the Law and Society movement's most prominent figures.

The Center already has interviewed UW Law's Stewart Macaulay, as well as former UW Law professor Lawrence Friedman. Macaulay discusses, among other things, the conversations that led to some of his groundbreaking scholarship in contract law.

Videos of those interviews can be viewed here.

The series continues into the New Year, with plans to interview UW Law's Marc Galanter. Check back for information about that interview.
