D.C. Superior Court Appoints Kenia Seoane Lopez '02 Magistrate Judge

Kenia Seoane López '02 has been appointed magistrate judge on the District of Columbia Superior Court in Washington, D.C., where she will preside over paternity and child support cases.

Prior to the magistrate appointment, Seoane López served as a bilingual attorney negotiator for the Court’s domestic violence unit. She is past president of the D.C. Hispanic Bar Association.

Seoane López, who also received a master's degree in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies at UW-Madison, takes the bench in July 2012.
