Asifa Quraishi Is Panelist for Presentation on "What Sharia Is--and Isn't"

Asifa Quraishi was a featured panelist at a recent presentation, "What Sharia Is--and Isn't: Examining the Anti-Sharia Movement in America."

Hosted by the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding and the Center for American Progress, the discussion featured a panel of experts who explained the basics of Sharia, compared its precepts to those of Christianity and Judaism, dissected how it is being used as a wedge issue in political campaigns, and examined the impact on Muslim American communities.
