University of Wisconsin Law School Adjunct Professor Stephen P. Hurley and seven of the Law School’s alumni were named 2009 “Leaders in the Law” by the Wisconsin Law Journal in the journal’s annual tribute to outstanding Wisconsin attorneys.

Criminal defense attorney Hurley, a partner with Hurley, Burish & Stanton S.C., has taught trial advocacy and evidence at the UW Law School for 20 years, beginning in 1989. Hurley was the 2004 winner of the school’s Warren H. Stolper Award as “Adjunct of the Year.”
