A committee of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers has selected Nicholas Flanagan '11 as the 2010 recipient of the Leonard Loeb Family Law Scholarship.
Flanagan, who receives $5,000 as the scholarship recipient, is a senior board member of the Wisconsin Law Review. He was selected based on his high academic standing, his record of success in family law (which may be demonstrated through coursework and/or clinical programs), and his activity in the UW Law School community. Before coming to UW Law School, Flanagan earned his B.S. in Business from the UW-Stevens Point and his M.B.A. from Marquette University.
The scholarship honors the memory of Leonard Loeb, a 1952 graduate of the UW Law School and former president of the State Bar of Wisconsin who was a leader in family law and community service during his long and distinguished legal career. Past winners include:
