Lichstein Honored as Up and Coming Lawyer

UW Law School's Byron Lichstein has been recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal as one of 2010's "Up and Coming Lawyers."

Lichstein is a 2003 graduate of the UW Law School, where he is a Clinical Associate Professor.  He is Deputy Director of the Frank J. Remington Center, where he is Director of the Criminal Appeals Project and also works with the Wisconsin Innocence Project.  Lichstein also serves as a staff attorney for the Wisconsin Criminal Justice Study Commission, and worked closely with the Wisconsin Department of Justice to develop statewide guidelines aimed at reducing the risk of convicting innocent persons.

Lichstein will be honored August 31 at a reception at the Wisconsin Club in Milwaukee.  For information about the event, click here.
