Several years ago, when DoIT discontinued the Eudora site license, it became no longer possible to maintain a centralized UW Law address book.  However, for a number of years, DoIT has been providing an address service called ldap that allows email programs to quickly do email address lookup and display the results as you type in the address field of an email.  Almost all email clients were setup to use the ldap service by Tech Services.  If your email client is not displaying email addresses as you type, I've included some links to directions on setting it up.  You can also email or call us for assistance.

Although it is not possible to maintain a centralized UW Law address book, most computers still have an outdated personal copy.  When migrating to Thunderbird, all the old address books including the no longer updated UW Law address book are imported as personal address books.  These personal address books (including the UW Law one) can be updated as necessary manually.  Some helps pages that will cover updating:
