The Economic Justice Institute (EJI) at the University of Wisconsin Law School has been awarded a two-year, 0,000 grant from the Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment. The grant, awarded by the Chancellor's Office of the UW-Madison, will provide support for students' summer stipends, salary support for a faculty member, and computers for EJI's neighborhood office on Park Street.
The EJI has been newly created by the joining of forces of two UW Law School projects: the Consumer Law Litigation Clinic, directed by Clinical Associate Professor Stephen Meili, and the Neighborhood Law Project, directed by Clinical Assistant Professor Juliet Brodie.
The Institute operates as one of the projects of the University of Wisconsin Law School's Frank J. Remington Center
