The informational meeting for students accepted or wait-listed for the Frank J. Remington Center's prison-based summer clinics will take place on Friday, April 4, 2008, from 3:00-4:00pm in Room 2211 of the Law School.
The April 4th meeting is mandatory. Please understand that if you fail to attend the meeting and do not contact Remington Center Director Meredith Ross ahead of time, we will assume that you are no longer interested in participating in the 2008 summer program. If you have a direct course conflict with the meeting time, or if an emergency arises, please contact Remington Center Director Meredith Ross prior to the meeting at mjross1@wisc.edu.
Accepted Students - Please do the following:
1. Read the information sheets below and come to the meeting with any questions you may have about them.
2. Review, complete (as appropriate), and print out the following documents. Bring the completed documents to the meeting.
- Institution Preference Sheets [For LAIP students only]
- Wisconsin Department of Corrections "Application Supplement-Conviction Record" [For ALL students except Oxford]
- UW Madison Student/Volunteer/LTE Driver Authorization Form [For ALL students]
- UW Madison Notarized Statement of Driving Record [For ALL students with non-Wisconsin driver's licenses, or who have held a Wisconsin license for less than 3 years]
3. Bring your driver's license to the meeting Even though you have already listed your license number on some of the forms, we're also going to ask you to enter your license number on a separate form at the meeting. So, please be sure to bring your license with you.
4. Finally, you do not need to preregister for the summer program prior to the April 4th meeting: The summer program is a "consent of instructor" course. You will be authorized to register for the summer clinics after the April 20th meeting.
