April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

You are cordially invited to participate in a highlight of the month's
activities,

a screening and director discussion of NO! The Rape Documentary

with Aishah Shahidah Simmons, an African-American feminist lesbian and
award-winning documentary filmmaker, writer and activist,

and Monica Dillon, a critically acclaimed musician, Hurricane Katrina
survivor and film producer,

who will visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison on April 16-17 to
help draw attention to the issues of sexual assault, homophobia and
racism.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month sponsors include: Promoting
Awareness/Victim Empowerment (PAVE), University Health Services (UHS),
University Housing Residence Life Office, Gender Dialogues Project*,
Lectures Committee, Sex Out Loud, LGBT Campus Center, Campus Women's
Center, Multicultural Student Coalition (MCSC), and Associated Students
of Madison (ASM).

*The Gender Dialogues Project, generously supported by the Women's
Philanthropy Council of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, is a
collaborative effort of the Division of Athletics, Offices of the Dean
of Students, Office for Equity & Diversity, Center for the First Year
Experience, LGBT Campus Center, Multicultural Student Center, Office of
the Provost/Vice Provost for Diversity & Climate, Office of the
Secretary of the Faculty/New Faculty Services, University Health
Services, and Kronshage, Sullivan, and Cole Halls of University
Housing.
