Course Description

This class is designed to familiarize family law students with interdisciplinary perspectives on families.  Experts in psychology, social work, family counseling, and child development will meet with the class, and discuss questions that are pertinent to the practice of family law.  Course readings will challenge students to think about how law intersects with the real lives of people dealing with family difficulties.  Course requirements include reading and presenting on relevant materials to the class, and a 15-20 page paper.
