815 Appellate Advocacy (moot court-Heffernan) - §004, Spring 2014

Categories: Appellate Practice Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution

Instructor(s) Clauss, Carin

The Heffernan Moot Court course is a 1 credit, mandatory pass-fail class that is offered to 2Ls who are currently not on the Moot Court Board. It is the last opportunity for 2Ls to get onto the Moot Court Board. The class will culminate with an appellate advocacy competition tryout in March, where the two finalists will be invited to join the Moot Court Board and have the opportunity to compete as 3Ls. The class is focused on honing skills that prepare students for life after law school, such as brief writing and oral advocacy.
