Any employer using the UW Law School's Office of Career Services to recruit or employ law students or graduates agrees to do so in accordance with the provisions of Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act, Wisconsin's Fair Employment Practice Statutes Sections 111.31 et seq, and UW-Madison Faculty document 542, 5 December 1983. These provisions prohibit discrimination on the basis of age, race, creed, color, handicap, marital status, sex, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, arrest record or conviction record. Penalties for violating these regulations and policies may include the denial of use of University facilities.
