Career Services Office Technology Resources

The Career Services Office has the following resources available for students as they conduct their job searches:

Photocopier: Students may use the Career Services Office photocopier free of charge for small printing tasks related to their job search. Printing will be limited to 10 or less copies. For larger printing tasks, students should use the Law School Computer Lab located on the 2nd floor of the Law School Library.

Fax: A fax machine is available free of charge for sending job search related materials to employers such as resumes, cover letters, or unofficial transcripts. Students may also receive employer materials and confirmations through the Career Services Office fax machine. The fax number is (608) 265-6289.

Telephone Room: Law students can reserve a telephone room to receive or make calls to employers, especially for telephone interviews. Reserve the room at the Career Services Office front desk.

Video Conferencing: More and more employers are taking advantage of video conference equipment to conduct job interviews to cut down on travel costs while still being able to see and interact with an applicant. The Law School has a variety of video conferencing options. Please contact the Career Services office front desk (608) 262-7856 to use this option.

Typewriter: A typewriter is available for filling out job search related forms, including filling out any state bar application forms.
