How To Conduct a Background Check

TVC's Genie Tyburski has compiled an excellent guide on How to Conduct a Background Check. It covers the types of background checks, legal restrictions, and gives links to companies offering this type of service.

The Virtual Chase also has other useful guides to company information, legal research, people finders, and search engines. They are available as links from the left menu.

Background checks can be a very useful tool to help you see more information (much of which we wouldn't "normally" see) about anyone including yourself. There are also other tools online now such as phone number trace services which provide background information too.
